The Swiss MP5, BT96 was the first firearm manufactured by Brügger & Thomet, in 1996. B&T has released a Limited 30 year commemorative collector’s edition of this iconic firearm. Only 21 units are available in the US Market, this is a capped collectors edition, B&T has confirmed that this is a one time run.

• The B&T 96 (BT96 IE: Brügger & Thomet 1996)   is a high-quality semi-automatic carbine from Swiss manufacturer Brügger & Thomet (B&T), essentially a Swiss MP5, first produced in 1996 as B&T’s initial firearm offering.

• This 30 year commemorative model features B&T’s Modern Furniture including B&T’s Picatinny NAR handguard- originally developed for the German Federal Police, Bundespolizei, and B&T’s signature MP5 MBT Stock.

• The BT96 ships in a custom B&T collector’s case, with three magazines, sling, and a manual.

• Design: Fully  compatible with standard MP5/SP5 accessories.

• High-quality construction, including Swiss made receivers, featuring the original BT96 model Swiss receiver Markings, and CH Confoederatio Helvetica  (Swiss Confederation) Serial Numbers, limits to 21 in total.
